Angie and I enjoyed the pool this morning for the first time in a while. It was a refreshing start of the day. I'm so glad to have a couple of days off from work to enjoy with Angie. Tomorrow I'll be cutting the grass.
Angie and I are looking forward to Sergey and Anastasia's visit this weekend. They are such a delight to be around. Their passion for Jesus is so evident to all who see and hear them. We hope to hear Sergey preach this Sunday. I'm working Sunday evening, so if he preaches Sunday morning, I plan to be there.
Just a few more days until the crimson tide kicks of their first game of the college football season. We're preseason #2 and hopefully headed for another national championship this year. Roll Tide Roll.
I'd like to leave you today with a beautiful video of this wonderful planet earth that God created and provides for. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Funny tv shows
The other day while Angie and I were watching the Golden Girls, I started thinking how two of the three actresses are now gone from this life. Only Betty White is left with us, and she was the oldest of the three!
The way their characters interacted still makes me laugh.
Another funny show I like that I didn't watch much when it was first aired is Frasier. A couple of cable channels show several episodes back to back at night, so I've really enjoyed seing how the characters developed over time. Niles is my favorite character on the show.
Please share your favorite funny shows and characters.

Update on Judy
Judy has had a good week so far. On Monday, her neurosurgeon, Dr. Voss, let her know the tumor on her pituitary gland is not cancerous. Yesterday, she saw Dr. Pratt, a rheumatologist, for the first time. He told her she doesn't have the symptoms of lupus. Her old doctor had diagnosed her with lupus. So she's relieved. Thanks for the prayers. Praise God.

Amazing Race
Great sermon today from Greg. To share Christ with others, we must first connect with them and then relate to them on their level. Let's show others how much we care, before we hit them over the head with our bibles.

New blog design
Hi everyone.
I'm going to try writing on my blog again. I hope you like the new design of the blog. I think the picture is beautiful-- and refreshing in this hot weather.
I look forward to being at church tomorrow with my family. I enjoy the encouragement I get from seeing my brothers and sisters in Christ. I also enjoy encouraging others as well. Isn't that one of the biggest reasons for being part of the family of God?
Please pray for Judy's health. She still has shingles in her eye. She also has an appointment this week with a neurosurgeon to find out what needs to be done with a tumor doctors recently found on her pituitary gland.
