I just read some very interesting articles on patternism from a Christian website called Wineskins ( http://www.wineskins.org/ ). The main idea I get from the articles is that a Christian's pattern to follow is Jesus, not a list of rules we have deduced to be requirements of Christians or churches. The authors contend that so much division amongst our brotherhood occurs because no two people can agree to what all the patterns we are to follow are.
