Happy Easter

Tomorrow is Easter Sunday and millions will be heading to church to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Jesus' resurrection is the singular most pivotal event in human history.  If not for His incredible, unfathomable love for us sinners, and His willingness to obey God by sacrificing His life on the cruel cross of Calvary-- we would be doomed to die in our sins without hope.  But thank God that Jesus did accomplish His mission to seek and save the lost and that He was willing to die for our sins.  But if the story of Jesus ended there, we would still be without hope.  Without His resurrection, what purpose would our lives have?  Why would we endure persecution for His name's sake if this life is all there is?  What would motivate us to strive to give of ourselves to others, if our existence ends with death?  So we have much to praise and be thankful for in the resurrection of Jesus.  Thanks to Jesus overcoming death, we have a great purpose in our lives to serve Him and others.

My hope is that many will come and worship Him tomorrow-- and learn of HIm and trust and obey Him.  I hope many will decide not just to worship Jesus on Easter, but everyday.  There is abundant joy in following Him.  If you don't feel that joy now, give the Holy Spirit time to develop it within you and your joy will grow more and more.

God bless everyone.
