Hi. My name is Jesse Jackson. I reside in LA, lower Alabama that is. This is my first attempt at writing a blog. I will be posting my thoughts on a variety of topics, and would love to receive feedback from you.
This has been quite a week for folks in New Orleans. First the Saints Superbowl victory and the wild celebrations and parade that followed-- then Mardi Gras and Valentine's Day to give everyone even more reason to party and have a good time. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
In my neck of the woods, I feel sorry for the people who were working at Country Crossing. I say let the people vote on electronic bingo, instead of Governor Riley using strong arm tactics to impose his beliefs on everyone.
I'm off to watch the Olympics and my favorite show, Lost. Has Sayid been taken over by Jacob? Let me know your thoughts.
Hi Jesse,
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new blog. I am also a NO Saints fan and thoroughly enjoyed watching the Super Superbowl game. Being from Dothan, AL Country Crossing's closing has hurt alot of people in the way of employment, no matter what each person's personal belief is on gambling, it should be taken to a vote of the people and let the majority of the people decide not just one man. Lately, government has been trying to take over every inch of everyone's lives and we the people need to take a stand somewhere!
LOST is a whole another topic - and who doesn't love Sawyer - but the good and evil of the island has found a loophole even after death. And, why hasn't Richard aged?, why did the monster have him locked in chains?, why did he kidnap him? why? why? why?
So long for now.......
love to see your follow-up blog......
